Increased pay and mentorship programs credited for CCSD's improved teacher retention rates

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Clark County School District started off the school year with more than 19,300 educators. They also started with about 300 teacher openings, one of the lowest the district has seen in years. When it comes to keeping staff, the retention rate among teachers in the 2024-2025 school year was 94.4% compared to 87.7% in the 2022-2023 school year. read more
